Recording audio and transcription language settings
Reki note records both your mic (your own voice) and the speaker output (the other party and PC audio). Under Settings > Recording & minutes, you can adjust where audio is captured from and how it is stored. This page covers the settings that tend to cause trouble.

What the recording settings control
Section titled “What the recording settings control”Your own voice and the other party are recorded and used for transcription. The settings let you change the capture source and how recordings are stored.
Set the transcription language
Section titled “Set the transcription language”Specifying the transcription language avoids waiting for auto-detection and makes accuracy and speed more stable. For Japanese meetings, “Japanese” is recommended.
Leaving it on “Auto” auto-detects even when multiple languages are mixed. Supported languages are Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, French, German, and Portuguese.
The other party and PC audio (Windows)
Section titled “The other party and PC audio (Windows)”This setting appears on Windows only. Select the same speaker you use in Zoom or Teams. The default is “Use the Windows setting (recommended)”.
Save recordings
Section titled “Save recordings”On: save audio files so you can listen again later. Off: delete the audio file after transcription.
Whether you save or not does not affect transcription or minutes.
Echo cancellation
Section titled “Echo cancellation”Reduces speaker sound bleeding into the mic. You can turn it off if the audio sounds odd.
Delete saved recordings
Section titled “Delete saved recordings”Press “Delete all” to remove saved audio files at once. Transcription and minutes are kept.
