Permission settings (mic, screen recording, and more)
Reki note uses macOS permissions for recording and fetching events. Under Settings > Other > Permissions, you can check each row and open System Settings to allow it. This page covers granting permissions and troubleshooting.

Permissions Reki note uses
Section titled “Permissions Reki note uses”There are four permissions. Grant the ones you need.

Microphone: records your own voice during meetings.

Screen recording: used to take screenshots during meetings.

Calendar: reads upcoming events and links them to recordings.

Accessibility: used for app control and detection.
Grant permissions
Section titled “Grant permissions”To change a permission, open System Settings from the button on each row.
- Open Settings > Other > Permissions.
- Check the state of each item (granted, not granted, and so on).
- Press “Open Settings” for the item you want to allow, and allow Reki note in System Settings.
- Return to the app; the state updates automatically.
If it still does not work
Section titled “If it still does not work”If it does not work after allowing, remove the permission once and add it again. In macOS System Settings, uncheck Reki note for that item, then turn it back on.
Changes to the microphone or screen recording may require an app restart. If it still fails, restart the app.
On Windows
Section titled “On Windows”This permission screen is for macOS. On Windows, allow access such as the microphone from Windows settings.
