Supported formats
Section titled “Supported formats”You can import the following audio and video formats.
-
mp3 / wav / m4a / aac / ogg / flac
-
webm / mp4 / mov
Each upload accepts files up to 25MB. Split larger files beforehand and import the parts.
How to import
Section titled “How to import”Imported files are saved as a new transcription session.
Audio is split into 60-second chunks and sent in order, so even long files show transcription from the first 60 seconds onward.
- Open Import audio.
- Choose audio or video to import from Add files. You can select multiple files.
- Optionally enter a session title.
- To link a calendar event, choose one from the suggestions.
- Press Start to begin transcription.
Link to a calendar event
Section titled “Link to a calendar event”With calendar integration on, events overlapping the file creation time appear as suggestions.
If a suggestion is correct, choose Use this. To pick a different event, use Select from calendar. If you do not need a link, choose Do not link.
If no events appear, enable calendar integration and grant access to your calendar.
Things to keep in mind
Section titled “Things to keep in mind”Files without a creation time, or with a default-looking time, can end up out of order. Set Sort order to Manual, reorder them, then start.
If you do not have enough transcription time left, a notice appears before starting. Upgrade your plan or try a shorter file.
If you cancel an import midway, the transcription up to that point is still saved.
